Raptor Management

Myles Lamont is a wildlife biologist with over two decades of experience spanning the Arctic tundra to the tropical forests of the Indian Ocean. His work focuses on wildlife conservation, species-at-risk management, ecological offsetting, and habitat restoration, with the aim of integrating scientific research with practical, on-the-ground solutions. His professional focus is primarily on terrestrial ecosystems, restoration and conservation biology, and wildlife mitigation and management. He also has a passion for reintroduction and translocation tools, with a background in ex-situ conservation measures.

By approaching potential projects and collaborations using these gained perspectives, he has been able to provide clients and partners with creative research objectives and solutions to various wildlife and conservation initiatives.

He is a strong believer in contributing to his community and is actively involved in environmental governance, policy development, and professional mentorship, working to bridge research and community-based stewardship. His professional goals are to ensure that ecological science translates into measurable conservation outcomes, sustainable land use, and lasting connections between people and the natural world.

When not working or volunteering, he can often be found above the treeline in the mountains, either on skis or on foot.

Indigenous Led Food Programs

Emma Bryce is an agroecological consultant dedicated to strengthening Indigenous-led food systems and advancing community food sovereignty across Western Canada. With a Master of Science in Environment and Management and a strong foundation in applied agrology and ecology, Emma specializes in co-creating food system solutions that restore relationships between people and the land. Her work is grounded in reciprocity, systems thinking, and a deep respect for Indigenous knowledge and leadership.

Emma has led a wide range of initiatives in sustainable agricultural development, livestock and land management, environmental monitoring, food distribution system design, and capacity-building through community-centered education. She brings extensive experience in project planning, funding acquisition, and evaluation frameworks — helping communities secure the resources they need to drive their own food system resilience and self-determination. Her consulting work also includes integrating agrology with conservation to support the health of both cultivated and natural landscapes.

Emma’s career has always been rooted in service, whether facilitating land-based learning, supporting local food infrastructure development, or contributing technical expertise to organic science research. She actively contributes to the stewardship community through leadership roles with non-profit organizations focused on habitat protection and sustainable agriculture, strengthening her ability to bridge governance, community perspectives, and on-the-ground solutions. She continues to champion collaborative, place-based approaches to ensure that food, culture, and ecological vitality remain interconnected for future generations.

When her hands are not in the dirt, you can find her foraging in the woods or experimenting with different ferments in the kitchen.
